Dr. April Hari Wardhana

I am an enthusiastic scientist with twenty-four years of experience in the Research Centre for Veterinary Science. I am a diligent, intelligent, extremely highly motivated, capable, and hardworking scientist who can communicate effectively with individuals of all levels. I have designed and conducted experiments, tested pharmaceuticals and insecticides, performed scientific literature research, and authored publications, including technical reports. I have exceptional analytic and communication skills, as well as a disciplined approach to working in a structured environment. In addition, I have a good sense of humour and pleasant approach. In 1998, I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Airlangga in Surabaya as the top graduate student. I actively participated in the national research competition when I was an undergraduate (the National Championship of Creative, Innovative, and Productive). In 1997, I was the first runner-up in the Agricultural Field Category; in 1998, I was the first runner-up in the Medical Field Category and the second runner-up in the Agricultural Field Category. In 1999, after completing my undergraduate studies, I was offered a position as a scientist at the Indonesian Research Centre for Veterinary Science (IRCVS). Since then, I have participated in several Australian Government-funded collaboration initiatives. Following that, I was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master's degree in Biotechnology at the University of Gadjah Mada via the sandwich program. I conducted study-related research at the Natural History Museum in London, United Kingdom. I received my Master's degree with Cum Laude.
